Deposits

*Deposits will not be refunded if a buyer backs out. They can be transferred to another kitten/puppy. If something happens on our end, due to health reasons or otherwise, we will refund the deposit.

Basic Buying Info

We do our best to ensure that you go home with a happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy or kitten. Parents have all been health tested and proof can be given upon request. They will go home with a health certificate from our vet, up to date on vaccinations, and a contract.

We work with our young ones to desensitize them to basic grooming and care routines and expose them to a variety of sights and sounds. They are raised in our home with our children and other pets(cats and dogs). Kittens will go home fully potty trained or close to it. Puppies will have the beginning of crate training and potty training.

What do they eat?

Puppy: Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Puppy Formula Chicken and Pea Dog Food

Adult Dog: Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Salmon and Sweet Potato Formula

Kitten: Purina One +Plus Healthy Kitten Formula

Adult Cat: Purina One +Plus Sensitive Skin and Stomach

Canned Food: Purina Friskies Cat Food Pate, Variety Pack

We also highly recommend doing the research to add some high quality raw food to your dogs/cats diet.

Potty/Litter Training

Puppy: Puppies are introduced to potty training first through learning to differentiate potty vs sleep areas in their kennel. We accomplish that by keeping a litter tray in the kennel to provide a separate potty area and then taking them outside to potty. By the time they go to their new home puppies typically will attempt to hold it until in an appropriate potty area but will not be able to hold it long. It is important to offer frequent opportunities to potty in the desired location to avoid accidents and mistakes as much as possible.

Kitten: We use pine pellets in xl stainless steel litter boxes. We do this for ease of cleaning and odor control, bonus it is cheaper and lighter than clay litter.

Kittens typically litter train themselves between 6-8 weeks of age. They can still have accidents or mistakes but it should not happen often. Make sure to show the kitten the litter box upon arriving home and keep them in a smaller area(ex:bedroom/bathroom) for a couple weeks to quarantine from other pets and help them adjust to the household. This will help avoid mistakes and ensure better success when released into the home! If your kitten is having frequent accidents, it is recommended to take them to the vet. Health issues such as UTIs or stress can cause them to avoid the litter box.

Toys/Enrichment

Honestly, we try all the different toys. Lol We have certain dogs that will eat everything(Maggie and Addie!) and others that play well with soft toys(Bruno). Balls are great, but we don't recommend tennis balls as those can wear down a dogs teeth. Bruno loves the long plush toys that sometimes have pieces of rope attached. He loves to play tug of war or just carry them around. Addie can't have any soft toys or blankets because she shreds them and swallows pieces and I think we are just lucky she hasn't needed surgery yet. Maggie doesn't swallow pieces but she loves to shred things, couches, blankets, toys, plastic, whatever she can get ahold of when we aren't looking. For her I love the Bark toys that have a rubber toy in plush wrapping. They last her longer than other toys. All of them love beef bones. They work on those for a while and Lulu tries to steal them from the others and collect them all. Kongs and toys with treats inside can also be entertaining.
